Your academic life in MBA school demands dedication and handwork. So if you have a part-time job, you have to double your effort. Achieving the balance between your academic life and part-time job is not impossible to accomplish as long as you bear these tips in mind:
* Know your priorities
In setting your priorities, you have to know the more important things you have to do. Based on this, you may focus more on your studies and part-time job. This doesn’t mean, however, that you have to spend your whole school days on these two. Socialization is also an important aspect of life. It’s just a matter of what comes first and what needs your immediate attention.
* Set a time for everything
Determine the time that you will be spending on your school work. This way, you can manage your time well and even set a schedule. If your job doesn’t allow flexible working hours, then you should finish doing everything on time. You may also file a leave to devote more time studying for upcoming final exams.
* Commit yourself to studies
You have to be committed to your studies It is important that you maintain your motivation in studying and working at the same time, even when you feel that it’s hard to accomplish everything. Just hang on; always keep in mind the great rewards and opportunities you will have when you pursue and finish your MBA degree.
* Spend time to relax
Even with too many responsibilities on your shoulder, you should still find time to relax so you won’t be too stressed out. Remember that stress can affect both your performance in school and in work. Find time to rejuvenate your mind before you resume studying or working. One way to have fun and relax is to spend time with your friends and family.
